SUMMER 2010 JOB OPENINGS      MANAGED MARKETS    Assistant Manager/Manager, Commercial Rebates     Responsible for a staff of three direct reports, this position will oversee the processing of MCO's and Part D rebates.     The successful candidate will have knowledge and the ability to perform complex rebate, BP and government calculations. Must be skilled in investigating, analyzing information and resolving business issues by applying information from various data sources, business rules and system processes. Identifies and resolves discrepancies to ensure legitimacy of contract discounts and proactively advises management of issues. Builds constructive working relationships with customers while resolving business issues dealing with pricing and data accuracy. Interacts with internal departments (audit, SOX compliance and legal) to clarify policy compliance requirements. Maintains contract operations master data using system and paper look-ups. Creates SOP documentation for department processes and recommends improvements in business procedures and outcomes. BS/BA degree plus 3-5 years pharma experience, CARS/IS/IMANY.      Manager, Government Pricing & Reporting    Supervise a team of two reports responsible for ensuring the compliance of government pricing programs: Medicaid Drug Rebate Program, Veterans Healthcare Act, Medicare Part B ASP program, PHS 340B program, as well as state regulations where appropriate.    Manage I-Many government pricing and Medicaid rebate processing systems, ensure systems are operational and accurate and collaborate with financial systems group to maintain and upgrade the systems.     The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree - accounting or related financial discipline preferred. Minimum 5 years experience in a government pricing & reporting position required. Generic and branded experience preferred. Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the rules and regulations of the Medicaid Drug Rebate Program, Veterans Healthcare Act of 1992, including FSS contracting rules, Medicare Part B ASP, PHS 340B as well as other government pricing programs. Experience with government pricing calculations, transactional data sources (SAP, I-Many, etc.) Knowledge of accounting and financial analysis required, as well as experience with a commercially developed government pricing system preferred. Proficient in advanced Excel functions and knowledge of Access desired.
